NMR spin echo signals are acquired downhole. A partial least squares method is used to determine parameters of a parametric model of the T2 distribution whose output matches the measurements. The model parameters are telemetered to the surface where the properties of the formation are reconstructed.

L'invention concerne des signaux d'écho de spin RMN qui sont acquis en fond de puits. Un procédé de moindres carrées partiels est utilisé pour déterminer des paramètres d'un modèle paramétrique de la distribution T2 dont la sortie correspond aux mesures. Les paramètres de modèle sont télémesurés à la surface où les propriétés de la formation sont reconstruites.
