NMR spin echo signals are acquired downhole. An independent component analysis is used to determine parameters of a parametric model of the T2 distribution whose output matches the measurements. The model parameters are telemetered to the surface where the properties of the formation are reconstructed.

L'invention concerne des signaux d'écho de spin de RMN acquis dans un trou de forage. Une analyse des composantes indépendantes est utilisée pour déterminer des paramètres d'un modèle paramétrique de la répartition T2 dont le résultat correspond aux mesures. Les paramètres de modèle sont télémétrés vers la surface où les propriétés de la formation sont reconstituées.
