Method of determining the composition of polymer mixtures comprising defined polymer components of differing mean molar masses Mn, which comprises the steps (a) recording of at least one 1H-NMR relaxation curve of the polymer mixture and (b) calculating the proportions of the polymer components by matching the measured relaxation curve with the relaxation curves of the individual polymer components. In this way, the composition of polymer mixtures can be determined quickly and simply. Furthermore, process integration for regulating the polymerization is possible.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour déterminer la composition de mélanges de polymères comprenant des constituants polymères définis de différentes masses molaires moyennes M¿n?, lequel procédé consiste (a) à enregistrer au moins une courbe de relaxation ?1¿H-RMN du mélange de polymères et (b) à calculer les proportions des constituants polymères en comparant la courbe de relaxation mesurée avec les courbes de relaxation des constituants polymères individuels. Ainsi, la composition des mélanges de polymères peut être déterminée de façon simple et rapide. De plus, l'intégration de processus pour réguler la polymérisation est possible.
