NO BOUNCE DART Abstract of the Invention A no bounce dart comprising a barrel having an axial cavity in its forward end. A point is mounted at the forward end of the barrel with the rearward portion of the point being slidably disposed in the barrel cavity. The point is afforded slidable movement between an extended position wherein the rearward end of the point is spaced apart from the bottom wall of the barrel cavity and a hammering position wherein the rearward end of the point contacts the bottom wall of the barrel cavity. An O-ring is mounted in the cavity in surrounding relation to the point to continuously frictionally impede movement of the point from its extended position to its hammering position. The time delay in the hammering action of the dart provided by the O-ring avoids bounce backs.
