A hydrocracking catalyst is provided that includes a crystalline molecular sieve material component having a faujasite structure and an alpha acidity of less than 1, preferably 0.3 or less, and a dispersed Group VIII noble metal component. The extremely low acidity allows selective hydrocracking of the aromatic and naphthenic species in a feedstock, while limiting the cracking of paraffins. The catalyst produces improved yields of products, such as diesel fuel, at high conversion rates and with high cetane values.
L'invention concerne un catalyseur d'hydrocraquage comprenant un composant tamis moléculaire cristallin ayant la structure de la faujasite et une acidité alpha inférieure à 1, de préférence inférieure ou égale à 0,3, et un composant dispersé constitué d'un métal noble du groupe VIII. Cette acidité extrêmement faible permet l'hydrocraquage sélectif des espèces aromatiques et naphténiques de la charge, ainsi qu'un craquage limité des paraffines. Le catalyseur permet d'obtenir des produits à rendement amélioré, tels que le gazole, à taux de conversion et à indices de cétane élevés.
