A multi-layer noise mitigating mat (10) is provided by the present invention. A first layer (16) is formed of bound rubber and features a profiled surface forming a bottom surface (12) of the mat (10) and a flat surface (13) opposite the profiled surface. A second layer (18) consists of a fabric or reinforcing agent which is affixed to the first layer (16) along its flat surface (13). A third layer (20) formed of bound rubber is affixed to the second layer (18) forming the top surface (14) of the mat.

L'invention concerne un tapis multicouche atténuateur de bruits (10). Une première couche (16) en caoutchouc lié présente une surface profilée formant une surface de fond (12) du tapis (10) et une surface plane (13) opposée à la surface profilée. Une deuxième couche (18) constituée d'un tissu ou d'un renforçateur est collée à la première couche (16) le long de sa surface plane (13). Une troisième couche (20) en caoutchouc lié est collée à la deuxième couche (18) formant la surface supérieure (14) du tapis.
