A method to produce a stretch cling film possessing cling without added tackifier or acrylate unit is disclosed. Preferred copolymers to make this film have a solubility distribution breadth index of less than about 35 ~C and are ethylene/C3-20 alpha olefin copolymers with greater than about 4 to about 20 mole percent comonomer content.

Procédé de production d'un film auto-adhésif étirable possédant des caractéristiques d'adhérence sans nécessiter d'agent collant ni de motif acrylate. Des copolymères de préférence utilisés pour la fabrication de ce film présentent un indice de courbe de répartition de solubilité inférieur à environ 35 ~C et se composent de copolymères d'alpha oléfine C¿3-20?/éthylène présentant un teneur en comonomère supérieure à un pourcentage molaire compris entre environ 4 et 20 %.
