ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A non-aqueous resin dispersion is obtained by dissolving a resin which is substantially insoluble in non-aqueous solvents in at least one monomer in which the resin is soluble, subjecting the resulting solution to polymerization in the presence or absence of non-aqueous solvent, and if necessary, adding a non-aqueous solvent to the reaction product. The resin dispersion is useful as a coating material or a liquid developer for use in electrophotography.
