ABSTRACT Process for producing non-blocking hot melt adhesive by contacting the adhesive at a temperature above its melting point with a dispersion of a parting agent selected from polyolefins, copolymers thereof and waxes, to provide a film-like coating fused on the surfaces of said adhesive. The parting agents have a molecular weight of from 800 to 5,000 and a melting point in the range of 65 to 140°C.
