46,499 NON-FLAMMABLE DIELECTRIC FLUID ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A non-flammable dielectric fluid is disclosed which comprises about 40 to about 90 pbw trichlorobenzene and about 10 to 60 pbw of a flammable compound miscible with trichlorobenzene. The flammable compound is an aromatic hydrocarbon, organic ester, or mixture thereof, is less volatile than trichlorobenzene, is a liquid between about 20 and about 215°C, and has a viscosity of less than about 5000 centistokes at 25°C.
