The invention relates to the use of compounds with an alkylene oxide chain as thickeners for aqueous compositions which are charged and/or have a white or coloured pigmentation, for production of pigment compositions for paints with an excellent pigment compatibility and a high viscosity with low and medium shear gradient. The invention further relates to said non-ionic thickener and the aqueous compositions which are charged and/or have a white or coloured pigmentation containing the above.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation de composé à chaîne d'oxyde d'alkylène comme épaississant de compositions aqueuses, chargées et/ou pigmentées, blanches ou colorées dans le but de fournir des compositions pigmentaires pour peinture qui assurent une excellente compatibilité pigmentaire et une haute viscosité à bas et moyen gradient de cisaillement. L'invention concerne également ledit épaississant non ionique ainsi que la composition aqueuse chargée et/ou pigmentée, blanche ou colorée le contenant.
