ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Antioxidants containing a sulfonyl azide moiety react with polymers having carbon-hydrogen bonds there- by becoming non-extractable and non-migratory, Preferred antioxidants have the formula: Image wherein: R1 and R2 are tertiary alkyl of up to 8 carbon atoms; g has a value or from 0 to 5; X is a divalent bridge member selected from -CH2O-, -CH2NH- or Image n and m are one; and Z is para-phenylene.
