IMPROVED NON-NESTING FASTENERS Abstract of Disclosure Fasteners adopted for mounting on a carrier rod for transporting automatically driven fasteners and for use in the magazine of the tools that automatically drive the fasteners. The fasteners have main body sections with peripheral side walls. centrally located aperture is provided in the main body sec- tion for fitting the fasteners on the carrier. The aperture has an extension portion to eliminate jamming on the carrier. Longi- tudinal notches are provided on opposite sides of the main body section above the side walls. The notch eliminates nesting of the fasteners within a magazine or when transported on a carrier.
