ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A synthetic moulding compound containing additives, especially a compound having a vinyl chloride base resulting from homopolymers of vinyl chloride (PVC) and plastics based predominantly on vinyl chloride, characterized in that in order to prevent the additives from separating out of the moulding compound during ex- truding, calendering, or injection-moulding, at least one silane is added which renders necessary an increase in the amount of energy per kilogramme per unit of time required for processing the said moulding compound.
