ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Non-return flap valve for particular use in forced circulation pipe systems, especially for nuclear power stations. It solves the problem of providing a certain minimum flow through the flap valve in case of reverse flow with complete closure occurring upon the reverse flow reaching a certain pressure. The valve consists in a swingable arrangement of a flap disc mounted on a pin whose axis is located above the flap disc at a distance (a) from the seating surface of the valve seat. The sealing surfaces of the seat and of the flap disc make an angle which enables a partial through- flow, the valve closing fully after a given pressure of the reverse flow is reached. The flow area of the partial through- flow is equal to 5-80 per cent of the maximum through-flow area of the valve seat.
