Abstract of the Disclosure Novel triesters of pentavalent phosphorus acid having the formula: Image wherein X is chlorine, bromine, or hydrogen; Z1 and Z2 arc indepen- dently selected from bromine, chlorine, or hydrogen; R1 is methyl, chloromethyl, bromomethyl or hydrogen; and R2 is methyl, chloro- methyl or hydrogen, except that R2 is chloromethyl when R1 is bromomethyl, and non-scorching plastic composition containing polyurethanes and said triesters of pentavalent phosphorus acid.
