ABREGE L'invention concerne un perfectionnement aux machines de coulée dans lesquelles le métal liquide se solidifie à l'intérieur de la gorge d'une roue. Elle consiste à remplacer le ruban d'acier généralement utilisé pour obturer la gorge par un double ruban. Un premier ruban en cuivre ou en alliage bon conducteur de la chaleur sert à l'évacuation des calories mais il n'est pas sous tension. La tension est assurée par un ruban d'acier en deux parties s'appliquant sur les bords du ruban de cuivre et maintenant celui-ci en contact avec la roue de coulée. L'invention s'applique particulièrement à la coulée d'ébauches en alliages d'aluminium chargés en vue de la fabrication de fil machine.
