ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE Non-woven fabric, in particular cloth for hygiene uses, is disclosed. The fabric comprises a layer of fibres which are fixed by at least one binder. The binder is an interpolymer comprising a copolymer A of buta- diene, styrene and at least one ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and a polymer B of bis(2-chloroethyl)vinylphosphonate which is at least partly grafted on to copolymer A. The resultant fabric possesses an enhanced suit- ability for heat sealing and increased hydrophilia.
