[PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a lithium secondary battery wherein overcharge safety of the battery is realized while improving cycle characteristics and storage characteristics at high temperatures and suppressing swelling of the battery case caused by gas generation. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A nonaqueous electrolyte solution for lithium secondary batteries wherein an electrolyte is dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent containing a cyclic carbonate compound, a chain carbonate compound and a cyclohexylbenzene compound wherein one or two halogen atoms are bonded to a benzene ring, is characterized by having the volume ratio between the cyclic carbonate compound and the chain carbonate compound in the nonaqueous solvent within the range from 20:80 to 40:60, or by further containing a small amount of a branched alkylbenzene compound.

L'invention concerne un accumulateur de lithium dans lequel une sécurité de surcharge de la pile est obtenue tout en améliorant les caractéristiques de cycle et les caractéristiques de stockage à des températures élevées et en supprimant le gonflement de l'enveloppe de pile provoqué par la production de gaz. L'invention concerne une solution électrolytique non aqueuse pour des accumulateurs de lithium, un électrolyte étant dissout dans un solvant non aqueux contenant un composé de carbonate cyclique, un composé de carbonate à chaîne et un composé de cyclohexylbenzène, un ou deux atomes d'halogène étant liés à un noyau de benzène. Cette solution se caractérise par le fait qu'elle possède un rapport de volume entre le composé de carbonate cyclique et le composé de carbonate de chaîne dans le solvant non aqueux compris entre 20/80 et 40/60, ou par le fait qu'elle contient aussi une faible quantité de composés d'alkylbenzène ramifiés.
