Abstract of the Disclosure Curable compositions based on acrylate-type monomers in combination with free radical initiators, the cure of which is inhibited by contact with oxygen are rendered non- tacky by inclusion of a compatible organic solvent in which has been dissolved an organic polymeric substance having an average molecular weight of at least about 10,000 and a glass transition temperature of at least about 0?. Upon evaporation of the solvent, the polymeric substance forms a film on the uncured surface of the composition, rendering the surface dry to the touch and substantially limiting oxygen trans- mission to the uncured composition, thereby enhancing cure. The compositions are useful as coatings or adhesives.
