A nonwoven fabric with UV stability and flame retardancy having at least one fabric layer. The fabric layer is made of a base resin, preferably polyolefinic, and a non-halogenated melt processable compound that is selected from the group consisting of N-alkyoxy amines and are combined into a homogeneous blend which is then either spunbonded or meltblown to form the fabric layer. A melt processable fluorochemical additive may also be combined into the homogeneous blend to provide liquid barrier properties to the fabric layer.
L'invention concerne un non tissé doué d'une stabilité aux UV et d'une ininflammabilité ayant au moins une couche de tissu. La couche de tissu est formée d'une résine de base, de préférence polyoléfinique, et d'un composé non halogéné pouvant être traité à chaud que l'on sélectionne dans le groupe constitué de N-alcoxy amines. Celles-ci sont mélangées de manière homogène et spunbonded ou fondues et soufflées pour obtenir une couche de tissu. Un additif fluorochimique pouvant être traité à chaud peut aussi être ajouté au mélange homogène pour conférer à la couche de tissu des propriétés de barrière aux liquides.
