There is provided a laminate of nonwoven fabrics for outdoor applications which has durable barrier properties, such as water repellency and chemical resistance. The laminate has two meltblown layers sandwiched between spunbond layers to produce an SMMS laminate. The meltblown layers have between 0.5 to 2.0 weight percent of a fluorocarbon and preferably between 5 and 15 weight percent polybutylene. The laminate also may have between 0.5 to 1.5 weight percent of a UV stabilizer and pigments if desired. Such laminates are useful for car covers, camper side panels, awnings and canopies, etc.
