ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bulky nonwoven fabric comprises fine fibers per- pendicular to the surface of the fabric, that is, parallel to the direction of thickness of the fabric. The nonwoven fabric of thermoplastic resin is prepared by a melt-blow- ing process utilizing a drum collector and cooperating nip-roll. If desired the fiber and gas stream may be contacted with fine liquid drops.
