The invention relates to a nose support for eyeglasses which comprises a nose pad (2) and a holder (1) for the nose pad (2) which consists of a piece of wire (3). Said nose support has an undercut pocket (8) for inserting a lug bent from one end of the piece of wire (3). The aim of the invention is to improve the constructive design of said nose support. For this end, the end of the piece of wire (3) forming the lug is bent in a hairpin-type manner, the web (4) connecting the two limbs (5, 6) of the hairpin-type end section forming a round lug (7) that is wider than the adjacent limbs (5, 6). The pocket (8) of the nose pad (2) flares from the undercut section away in the plane of the limbs (5, 6) of the piece of wire (3) that are bent in a hairpin- type manner and outward at an angle to this plane and across the entire pocket depth.

L'invention concerne une plaquette destinée à des lunettes et comprenant un appui nasal (2) ainsi qu'un élément de fixation constitué d'un segment de fil métallique (3) pour l'appui nasal (2).
