GUC and GUA ribozymes which cleave HIV RNA are provided. The ribozymes cleave HIV RNA in vitro and in vivo. When the ribozymes are expressed in cells, they inhibit HIV replication in the cells.

On décrit des ribozymes GUC et GUA qui divisent l'ARN du VIH. Ces ribozymes coupent l'ARN du VIH in vitro et in vivo. Lorsque ces ribozymes sont exprimées dans des cellules, elles inhibent la réplication du VIH dans lesdites cellules.
