The present invention relates to novel antibodies capable of binding specifically to the human insulin-like growth factor I receptor (IGF-IR). The invention likewise comprises the use of these antibodies as a medicament for the prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of cancers overexpressing IGF- IR, stimulated either by IGF1 and/or IGF2, or any pathology connected with the overexpression of said receptor as well as in processes or kits for diagnosis of illnesses connected with the overexpression of the IGF-IR and/or the IGF-I / Insulin hybrid receptor.
L'invention porte sur de nouveaux anticorps anti IGF-IR (récepteur du facteur de croissance insulinomimétique de type I) se fixant spécifiquement à l'IGF-IR. L'invention porte également sur l'utilisation de ces anticorps comme médicament de traitement prophylactique et/ou thérapeutique de cancers surexprimant l'IGF-IR, stimulés soit par l'IGF1 et/ou l'IGF2, et de toute pathologie liée à la surexpression dudit récepteur. L'invention porte en outre sur des processus et des trousses de diagnostic de maladies liées à la surexpression de l'IGF-IR et/ou du récepteur hybride de l'IGF-I et de l'insuline.
