The present invention provides novel human protein antigens and related antibodies that have been identified as being specifically expressed in association to human Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDA). In particular, novel phosphorylated isoforms of alpha-enolase have been identified in transformed cell lines of pancreat ic origin and antibodies binding such isoforms are specifically present in the sera of PDA patients. These proteins and antibodies can be useful for the diagnosis and the treatment of PDA and other cancers having common molecular features.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux antigènes de protéine humains et les anticorps associés, identifiés comme étant spécifiquement exprimés lors d'un adénocarcinome intracanalaire pancréatique humain (AIP). L'invention concerne en particulier de nouvelles isoformes phosphorylées d'énolase alpha qui ont été identifiées dans des lignées cellulaires transformées d'origine pancréatique et des anticorps qui se lient à de telles isoformes et sont spécifiquement présents dans le sérum de patients souffrant d'un AIP. Ces protéines et ces anticorps peuvent se révéler utiles pour le diagnostic et le traitement d'un AIP et d'autres cancers présentant des caractéristiques moléculaires communes.
