An arylamidine derivative represented by a general formula described below or a salt thereof has an excellent antifungal action and high safety, and it is useful as an antifungal agent with good pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamic properties: (see above formula) wherein X represents an unsubstituted or substituted lower alkylene or alkenylene group; G1 represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or an imino group; G2 represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; R a represents at least one group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, and unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl and alkoxy groups; R1 represents an unprotected or protected or unsubstituted or substituted amidino group; and R2 represents a substituted amino or substituted cyclic amino group, or the like.

L'invention concerne un dérivé d'arylamidine, ou un sel de ce dérivé, représenté par la formule générale (1). Dans cette formule, X représente un groupe alkylène ou alcénylène inférieur éventuellement substitué; G?1¿ représente un atome d'oxygène, de soufre ou un groupe imino; G?2¿ représente un atome de carbone ou d'azote; R?a¿ représente au moins un élément choisi parmi un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe halogéno, et un groupe alkyle, cycloalkyle et alcoxy éventuellement substitué; R?1¿ représente un groupe amidino éventuellement protégé ou substitué; et R?2¿ représente un groupe amino substitué, un groupe amino cyclique substitué, etc.). Le dérivé, ou un de ses sels, possède une excellente activité antifongique et un degré élevé de sécurité. Il est donc utile en tant que fongicide à comportement satisfaisant dans le corps.
