Novel polycyclic cannabinoid analogs are presented which have preferentially high affinities for the cannabinoid CB2 receptor sites. The improved receptor affinity makes these analogs therapeutically useful as medications in individuals and animals for treatment of pain, glaucoma, epilepsy, nausea associated with chemotherapy.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux analogues cannabinoïdes polycycliques présentant, de préférence, une grande affinité pour les sites du récepteur CB2 de cannabinoïdes. Cette affinité améliorée pour le récepteur rend ces analogues thérapeutiquement utiles, comme médicaments pour humains ou animaux, pour le traitement de la douleur, du glaucome, de l'épilepsie, et de la nausée associée à la chimiothérapie.
