The present invention relates to the production of novel catalysts made from transition metal compounds and "three-toothed" 4,5-diphosphinoacridine-ligands ("Acriphos"). The ligands used to this effect are diphosphine compounds of 4,5- disubstituted acridine, which tri-coordinate the transition metals with both phosphor atoms and with the acridine nitrogen atom. The invention also relates to the use of the novel catalysts for catalysis of carbon monoxide conversion by water gas equilibrium (WGSR:CO+H2O=CO2+H2) and catalysis of the following reactions: hydroformylation, carbonylation, carboxylation, hydration, hydrocyanation, hydrosilylation, polymerization, isomerization, cross-coupling and metathesis. The invention also relates to the syntheses of the 4,5- diphosphinoacridines by reacting 4,5-difluoroacridine with alkali metal phosphides R2P- M+ (M+ = Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, preferably K+) or by reacting 4,5-dibromacridine with chlorophosphines (R2PCl) and magnesium, as well as to the production of 4,5-difluoroacridine and 4,5-dibromacridine, which were previously unknown.
L'invention concerne la production de nouveaux catalyseurs constitués de composés de métaux de transition et de ligands tridentés de 4,5-diphosphinoacridine ("acriphos"). Les nouveaux ligands utilisés à cet effet sont des composés diphosphiniques de l'acridine 4,5-disubstituée, qui assurent la tri-coordination des métaux de transition avec les deux atomes de phosphore et l'atome azoté d'acridine. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces nouveaux catalyseurs pour la catalyse de la conversion du monoxyde de carbone par l'intermédiaire de l'équilibre eau-gaz (WGSR:CO+H¿2?O=CO¿2?+H¿2?), ainsi que pour la catalyse des réactions suivantes: hydroformylation, carbonylation, carboxylation, hydrogénation, hydrocyanuration, hydrosilylation, polymérisation, isomérisation, couplage croisé et métathèse. L'invention concerne d'autre part les synthèses des 4,5-diphosphinoacridines par la réaction de 4,5-difluoroacridine avec des phosphures de métaux alcalins R¿2?P?-¿ M?+¿(M?+¿ = Li?+¿, Na?+¿, K?+¿, Rb?+¿, Cs?+¿, de préférence K?+¿) ou bien par la réaction de 4,5-dibromoacridine avec des chlorophosphines (R¿2?PCl) et du magnésium, ainsi que la préparation de la 4,5-difluoroacridine et de la 4,5-dibromoacridine qui étaientt inconnues auparavant.
