Compounds of formula (I) wherein R1 is 2-indanyl, R2 is 1-methylpropyl, R3 is a group selected from 2, 6-dimethyl-3-pyridyl or 4,6-dimethyl-3-pyridyl, R4 represents methyl and R5 represents hydrogen or methyl or, R4 and R5 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached represent morpholino and pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof are described, as are processes for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in medicine, particularly their use as oxytocin antagonists.

L'invention concerne des composés de formule (I) dans laquelle R1 représente 2-indanyle, R2 représente 1-méthylpropyle, R3 représente un groupe choisi parmi 2, 6-diméthyl-3-pyridyle ou 4,6-diméthyl-3-pyridyle, R4 représente méthyle et R5 représente hydrogène ou méthyle ou, R4 et R5 conjointement avec l'atome d'azote auquel ils sont attachés représentent morpholino. Elle porte également sur des dérivés de ces composés, acceptables au plan pharmaceutiques, ainsi que sur leurs procédés de préparation, sur des compositions pharmaceutiques les contenant et sur leur utilisation dans la médecine, notamment en tant qu'antagonistes de l'oxytocine.
