Crystal (I) of depsipeptide derivative (IV) represented by the following formula: (see formula I) of the present invention is characterized in that the crystal (I) substantially has the powdery X-ray diffraction characteristic properties described in Table 1 and has an endothermic peak substantially at 155 C by differential thermal analysis (see Table 1) The novel crystal of depsipeptide have excellent filtration properties during crystallization, good fluidity and the like, therefore, resulting in improved production efficiency and yields of the crystal.
