A hot alkaline liquid soluble or dispersable composition made from an ethylene- acrylic acid copolymer having an acrylic acid portion, an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer having a methacrylic acid portion, an Ionomer-type copolymer having an acrylic acid portion, a methacrylic acid portion, or a combination thereof, or a mixture of these copolymers. The composition further includes additional polymers. Methods of making articles from such compositions. Methods of disposing of such compositions in hot liquid and alkaline conditions. Laminates including the compositions.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition, soluble ou dispersable, liquide, alcaline et chaude, préparée à partir d'un copolymère d'éthylène/acide acrylique, présentant une portion d'acide acrylique, d'un copolymère d'éthylène/acide méthacrylique possédant une portion d'acide méthacrylique, d'un copolymère du type ionomère possédant une portion d'acide acrylique, une portion d'acide méthacrylique ou une combinaison de ceux-ci, ou préparée à partir d'un mélange de ces copolymères. Cette composition comprend en outre d'autres polymères. L'invention concerne également des procédés de fabrication d'articles à partir de telles compositions, des procédés servant à mettre de telles compositions dans des conditions liquides, chaudes et alcalines, ainsi que des stratifiés contenant lesdites compositions.
