A single package adhesive for tooth bonding application comprising a solvent- based homogenous mixture of: 1) an ethylenically unsaturated functional and hygroscopically functional monomer; 2) an ethylenically unsaturated functional and hygroscopically functional coupling agent that is capable of (a) chemically reacting with and through the ethylenic bond of the ethylenically unsaturated functional monomer of 1) above, and (b) chemically bonding to the surface to which the adhesive is applied; 3) a poly-ethylenically unsaturated functional crosslinking agent that is capable of reacting with the monomer of 1) above and the coupling agent of 2) above; and 4) a photoinitiator that induces addition polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated compound. A method for forming a composite and composite structure are included that employ the single package adhesive.
Cet adhésif intégré destiné aux applications dentaires où interviennent des liants, comprend un mélange homogène, à base de solvant, composé: 1) d'un monomère fonctionnel insaturé en éthylène et fonctionnel sur le plan hygroscopique; 2) un agent de couplage fonctionnel insaturé en éthylène et fonctionnel sur le plan hygroscopique, pouvant (a) réagir chimiquement avec et par la liaison éthylènique du monomère fonctionnel insaturé en éthylène du 1) ci-dessus, et (b) se lier chmiquement à la surface sur laquelle est appliqué cet adhésif; 3) un agent de réticulation fonctionnelle insaturé en polyéthylène, qui peut réagir avec le monomère de 1) ci-dessus et l'agent de couplage de 2) ci-dessus; et 4) un photo-initiateur qui induit une polymérisation par addition d'un composé insaturé en éthylène. On décrit un procédé qui permet de former un matériau et une structure composite avec cet adhésif intégré.
