The invention provides novel dioctatin derivatives, a process for the production thereof, novel dioctatin derivatives useful as aflatoxin production inhibitor, and a method for controlling aflatoxin pollution by the use of an aflatoxin production inhibitor containing one or more of the dioctatin derivatives. The invention relates to dioctatin derivatives characterized by being represented by the structural formula (I): wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, CH3-(CH2)n-, (CH3)2CH-CH2-, or C6H5-CH2-; n is an integer of 2 to 6; X1 and X2 are each CH3 or hydrogen; and Y is 2-amino-2-butenoic acid or an amino acid residue, with the proviso that the cases wherein both R1 and R2 are CH3-(CH2)4-; X2 is hydrogen; and Y is 2-amino-2-butenoic acid are excepted.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de dioctatin, un procédé pour la production de ceux-ci, de nouveaux dérivés de dioctatin utiles comme inhibiteurs de la production d'aflatoxines et un procédé de lutte contre la pollution par des aflatoxines grâce à l'utilisation d'un inhibiteur de la production d'aflatoxines contenant un ou plusieurs des dérivés de dioctane. L'invention concerne des dérivés de dioctatin caractérisés en ce qu'ils sont représentés par la formule de structure (I) : dans laquelle R1 et R2 sont chacun un hydrogène, CH3-(CH2)n-, (CH3)2CH-CH2- ou C6H5-CH2- ; n est un nombre entier valant 2 à 6 ; X1 et X2 sont chacun CH3 ou un hydrogène ; et Y est l'acide 2-amino-2-buténoïque ou un résidu d'acide aminé, à condition que les cas où R1 et R2 sont tous deux CH3-(CH2)4- ; X2 est un hydrogène ; et Y est l'acide 2-amino-2-buténoïque soient exclus.
