An elastomeric composition containing a rubber polymer, an acid acceptor, and a silane-modified needle-like/acir-cular mineral additive. Compositions according to the present invention have superior heat resistance, compression set resistance, and improved processability (lower compound Mooney) compared to known rubber compositions.
L'invention concerne une composition élastomère qui contient un polymère caoutchoutique, un accepteur d'acide et un additif minéral en aiguille/aciculaire modifié par un silane. Les compositions selon la présente invention ont une résistance à la chaleur supérieure, une meilleure résistance à la déformation rémanente en compression et une meilleure aptitude à la transformation (viscosité Mooney du mélange inférieure) en comparaison des compositions caoutchoutiques connues.
