A multimodal fluoroplastic terpolymer composition is provided. The terpolymer can be extruded at high extrusion speeds without having to reduce its molecular weight. The terpolymer is useful by itself; in combination with conductive fillers to provide an electrostatically dissipative composition; and as a polymer processing aid. The polymer has a low molecular weight component, a high molecular weight component and, optionally an ultra-high molecular weight component.

La présente invention concerne une composition terpolymère plastique fluorée multimodale. Ce terpolymère admet des vitesses élevées d'extrusion sans qu'il soit nécessaire de réduire sa masse moléculaire. Ce terpolymère, qui peut s'utiliser en tant que tel, convient, d'une part en combinaison avec des charges électro-conductrices, pour la réalisation d'une composition dissipant l'électricité statique, et d'autre part comme auxiliaire de traitement de polymère. Ce polymère comporte une composante à faible masse moléculaire, une composante à forte masse moléculaire, et éventuellement une composante à très forte masse moléculaire.
