Novel acridinium esters that are useful, either alone or when incorporated into liposomes, as chemiluminescent agents in binding assays (e.g., immunoassays and gene probe assays) with improved sensitivity are disclosed. In addition, the synthesis of these esters and their use in assays for detecting an analyte is described. In particular, assays for testosterone and the Rubella virus are disclosed.
La présente invention a pour objet de nouveaux esters d'acridinium utilisables, seuls ou incorporés dans des liposomes, comme agents chimioluminescents dans des titrages par liaison (titrages immunologiques, titrages de sondes de gènes) de sensibilité améliorée. Elle concerne également la synthèse de ces esters et leur utilisation dans des titrages servant à mettre en évidence un analyte, qu'il s'agisse notamment de détecter de la testostérone ou de dépister le virus Rubella.
