A novel hair band (16) is disclosed. The novel hair band (16) comprises a tube (12) having a predetermined diameter, and having a predetermined length, said tube (12) being constructed with 140 denier lycra wrapped in a 40 denier nylon, said tube (12) being rolled from both sides so as to form a hair band (16) having two rings(17). In another embodiment, the invention comprises a system (18) for storing a plurality of hair bands (16) comprising a cylindrical member (20) having a predetermined outside diameter (22), and having a sufficient length to hold a plurality of hair bands (16) to the exterior of said cylindrical member (20).
