The present invention relates to a method for preparing a band (I) of reinforcement threads (1) or filaments combined with a polymer binding agent (2a, 2b) on each of the surfaces thereof, said band having a substantially constant given width (L) along the entire length (l) thereof, wherein the threads or filament extend in a direction parallel to the length of the band, characterised in that the method includes the following steps: a) adjusting the width of the band to the desired width using a calibration means (13), b) combining the band with a binding agent on each of the surfaces thereof to ensure a uniform cohesion of the band, such that the total weight of the binding agent does not exceed 25 % of the total weight of the resultant band. The invention further relates to the bands that can be obtained by such a method.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un ruban (I) de fils (1) ou filaments de renfort associé sur chacune de ses faces à un liant polymérique (2a,2b), ledit ruban présentant une largeur (L) donnée sensiblement constante sur toute sa longueur (I), dans lequel les fils ou filaments s'étendent selon une direction parallèle à la longueur du ruban caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes : a) ajustement de la largeur du ruban à la largeur souhaitée grâce à des moyens de calibrage (13), b) association du ruban sur chacune de ses faces à un liant permettant d'assurer une cohésion homogène du ruban, de manière à ce que la masse totale de liant n'excède pas 25 % de la masse totale du ruban obtenu, ainsi que les rubans susceptibles d'être obtenus par un tel procédé.
