Isoxazolopyridone derivatives represented by the general formula [I-a] or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof: [I-a] [wherein R1a and R2a are each independently a hetertoaryl or phenyl group which may be substituted; and R3a is Me, with the provisos that when R1a is unsubstituted phenyl, R2a is not p- substituted phenyl wherein the substituent is OMe, Cl, Me, CF3, F, CH2Br, or CH2NMe2, or unsubstituted heteroaryl and that when R1a is 4-tolyl or 4- fluorophenyl, R2a is not unsubstituted phenyl, 4-methoxyphenyl or 4- fluorophenyl]. The derivatives or the salts exhibit metabotropic glutamate receptor antagonism and are useful in the treatment of anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer disease, epilepsy, Parkinson~s disease, pain, degenerative neuropathy, an so on.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés d'isoxazolopyridone représentés par la formule [I - a] ou des sels de ceux-ci pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Dans la formule [I - a], R1a et R2a représentent chacun indépendamment un groupe phényle ou hétéroaryle pouvant être substitué ; et R3a représente Me à condition que lorsque R1a représente un phényle non substitué, R2a ne représente pas un phényle p substitué dans lequel le substituant est OMe, C1, Me, CF3, F, CH2Br ou CH2NMe2, ou un hétéroaryle non substitué; et que lorsque R1a représente 4-tolyle ou 4-fluorophényle, R2a ne représente pas un phényle, 4-méthoxyphényle ou 4-fluorophényle non substitué. Lesdits dérivés et sels présentent un antagonisme de récepteur de glutamate métabotropique et sont utilisés pour traiter l'anxiété, la dépression, la schizophrénie, la maladie d'Alzheimer, l'épilepsie, la maladie de Parkinson, les douleurs, la neuropathie dégénérative, etc..
