A method for producing an N-acetyllactosamine oligosaccharide, comprising the steps of: adjusting a sulfate group content of keratan sulfate; allowing an enzyme having an ability to cleave a glycosidic linkage of keratan sulfate to act on the keratan sulfate with the adjusted sulfate group content to obtain a sulfated N-acetyllactosamine oligosaccharide; and completely desulfating said sulfated N--acetyllactosamine oligosaccharide.

Cette invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un oligosaccharide à base de N-acétyl-lactosamine, lequel procédé consiste à réguler le contenu en groupes sulfate de sulfate de kératan. Le sulfate de kératan ainsi obtenu est ensuite traité à l'aide d'une enzyme qui va sectionner sa liaison glycoside, ce qui permet d'obtenir un oligosaccharide à base de N-acétyllactosamine sulfaté. Ce procédé consiste enfin à désulfater complètement l'oligosaccharide ainsi obtenu.
