The present invention relates to a method for producing a novel patterned linoleum flat structure. The inventive method comprises the steps: spreading at least one sort of single-colour or multicoloured mixed mass particles onto at least one side of a single-colour or multicoloured rolled sheet of linoleum and pressing the mixed mass particles into the rolled sheet of linoleum in such a way that distortions are essentially prevented.
