(FERM BP-3832) or Streptomyces toyocaensis subsp.humicola) (ATCC 39471) and an immunosuppressive agent, an antimycotic agent and an antitumor agent which comprises the said macrocyclic lactones. The macrocyclic lactones have formula (I) wherein R1 is oxygen, two hydrogens or one hydrogen and one hydroxy; R2, R3 and R5 are each independently hydrogen, hydroxy or methoxy; and R4 is hydroxy or hydrogen; provided that when R1 is oxygen, R4 is hydroxy and R2 and R5 are methoxy, R3 is neither hydrogen nor methoxy.
