The invention concerns a method for detecting compounds modulating the complexing between the neuronal nitric oxide synthase associated protein (nNOS) or one of its variants and the protein inhibiting neuronal nitric acid synthase (PIN), which consists in: incubating a mixture comprising said compound, the PIN protein and the nNOS protein or one of its variants; detecting the possible significant variation of the amount of complex formed between the PIN protein and the nNOS protein or one of its variants compared to a control value; and deducing therefrom, when there has been significant variation as defined above, that there has been linkage between said compound and the PIN protein or the nNOS protein or one of its variants, thereby causing modulation of the complexing between the PIN protein and the nNOS protein or one of its variants.
L'invention concerne un procédé de détection de composés modulant la complexation entre la protéine oxyde nitrique synthase neuronale (nNOS) ou l'un de ses variants et la protéine inhibitrice de l'oxyde nitrique synthase neuronale (PIN), dans lequel: on incube un mélange comprenant ledit composé, la protéine PIN et la protéine nNOS ou l'un de ses variants, on détecte la variation significative éventuelle de la quantité de complexe formé entre la protéine PIN et la protéine nNOS ou l'un de ses variants par rapport à une valeur de contrôle, on en déduit, lorsqu'il y a eu variation significative telle que définie ci-dessus, qu'il a eu liaison entre d'une part le susdit composé et d'autre part la protéine PIN ou la protéine nNOS ou l'un de ses variants, ce qui entraîne la modulation de la complexation entre la protéine PIN et la protéine nNOS ou l'un de ses variants.
