It is intended to provide an anti-PAC1 monoclonal antibody capable of recognizing PAC1 having a native structure, a PAC1 activity regulator (in particular, an activity inhibitor) containing the above antibody, a preventive/remedy for a disease relating increasing physiological activity of PAC1 which contains the above antibody, a diagnostic for a disease relating to an abnormality in the PAC1 activity which contains the above antibody, and a method of screening a substance regulating the expression of PAC1 by using the above antibody and a cell expressing PAC1.
