The invention concerns monomers with dilactonic cycle and the corresponding polymers, their preparation, and materials containing these polymers. The monomers are of formula (IIIa) in which R is the residue of a acid derived from an ose such as glyconic, gylcuronic or glycaric acid and X represents in particular a methylene or ethylene group optionally substituted by at least an alkyl, allyl, aryl or aralkyl. The corresponding polymers are in the form of degradable non-toxic products and are used for example for packaging (films) or in medicine (implants).
Monomères à cycle dilactonique, ainsi que polymères correspondants, leur préparation, et les matériaux contenant ces polymères. Les monomères répondent à la formule (IIIa) dans laquelle R est le reste d'un acide dérivé d'un ose tel qu'un acide aldonique uronique ou aldarique et X représente notamment un groupement méthylène ou éthylène éventuellement substitué par au moins un alkyle, allyle, aryle ou aralkyle. Les polymères correspondants sont dégradables en produits non toxiques. Ils sont utilisables par exemple dans le domaine de l'emballage (films) et de la médecine (implants).
