Adhesives comprising one or more tackifiers and an ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer produced using either a single metallocene or dual metallocene catalyst system were formulated, and have adhesive characteristics over a broad temperature range. The inventive hot melt adhesive compositions (~HMAs~) have properties comparable to those of commercially available, three component HMAs comprising ethylene vinyl acetate polymers, tackifier and wax. HMA embodiments include those wherein the ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymers comprise ethylene and either 1-octene or propylene as copolymers.
La présente invention concerne des adhésifs comprenant un ou plusieurs agents collants et un interpolymère éthylène/alpha-oléfinique produit: soit au moyen d'un système de catalyseur métallocène unique, soit au moyen d'un système de catalyseur métallocène dual et ces adhésifs possèdent des caractéristiques adhésives sur une large plage de température. Les compositions thermofusibles de cette invention ( HMA ) possèdent des propriétés comparables à celles des compositions à trois composants disponibles sur le marché comprenant des polymères éthylène vinyle acétate, un agent collant et de la cire. Des modes de réalisation de l'invention comprenne des compositions dans lesquelles les interpolymères éthylène alpha oléfiniques comprennent de l'éthylène et soit un octène, soit un propylène comme copolymères.
