The subject invention is directed to new and novel copolymers having long chain branches formed from ethylene and at least one vinyl alicyclic monomer, to solution polymerization using certain unstrained bridged metallocene catalysts which has been found capable of forming said copolymers and to packaging material formed therefrom.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux copolymères à ramifications à longue chaîne formés à partir d'éthylène et d'au moins un monomère vinyl alicyclique. L'invention concerne également leurs polymérisation en solution, qui fait intervenir certains catalyseurs métallocène pontés sans contrainte dont on a découvert qu'ils pouvaient former lesdits copolymères, ainsi qu'un matériau d'emballage fabriqué à partir de ceux-ci.
