A layered photosensitive imaging member is modified by forming a low-reflection layer on the ground plane. The low-reflection layer serves to reduce an interference fringe contrast and according to a second aspect of the invention, layer adhesion is greatly improved when selecting T i O2 as the low-reflection material. In a preferred embodiment, low-reflection materials having index of refraction greater than 2.05 were found to be most effective in suppressing the interference fringe contrast.
Cette invention concerne un élément d'imagerie photosensible multicouches modifiée par l'ajout d'une couche à faible réflectivité sur le substrat. Cette couche sert à réduire les contrastes des franges d'interférence et, selon un second aspect de l'invention, l'adhérence de cette couche est grandement améliorée lorsqu'elle est composée TiO2. Une variante privilégiée fait appel à un matériau à faible réflectivité à indice de réfraction supérieur à 2,05, en raison de son efficacité accrue à réduire le contraste des franges d'interférence.
